Finallymadeit has been Florida’s Iron Horse for his stellar racing campaigns in south Florida the last couple of years, winning 10 stakes races at Calder Race Course including the Hooper Handicap (G3). On Jan. 31st, the 5-year-old Concerto horse showed his quality on the biggest stage, returning from just a week’s rest to finish a valiant second in the Donn Handicap (G1) at Gulfstream Park.

Having raced in the $1 million Sunshine Million Classic just a week prior, Finallymadeit displayed his toughness by setting the pace in the 1 1/8-mile Donn before yielding to Albertus Maximus late by a half-length on the wire. Trained by Javier Negrete, Finallymadeit owns 14 wins from 39 starts with earnings of $811,265 for breeder and owner Rolbea Racing LLC.
